Papers of feminist Sharon Lieberman who was both a writer and member of numerous feminist organizations including the Coalition for Abortion Rights and Against Sterilization Abuse (CARASA), Majority Report, National Women's Health Coalition, National Women's Health Network, Health Right, Feminist Women's Health Center, Alternative Birth Crisis Coalition (ABCC), and Reproductive Rights National Network (R2N2). Included is material pertaining to the publication and editing of her writing, leaflets, newsletters, and other documentation relating to the issues with which she was involved such as safe and fair medical treatment for women, abortion rights, sterilization, and rape. Also included are three photographs of the E.R.A. demonstration held in Washington, D.C. in 1978.

The Reproductive Rights National Network formed in 1978 in response to the nationwide abortion debate launched by Roe v. Wade. It eventually included about 50 feminist organizations and devoted itself to making reproductive choices available for all women. R2N2 campaigned for safe abortions; for the right of gay couples to adopt and raise children; and against the sterilization of poor or "unfit" mothers. It disbanded in 1984.
